Virú has rebuilt an educational institution

On Monday, 8th of July, Virú S.A. along with the Provincial Municipality of Virú inaugurated the Educational Institution No. 2117 of the Community of Victor Raul Haya de la Torre, in the district of Virú (La Libertad). 

The event was held on Monday 8th of July in the presence of a number of dignitaries and representatives of the company.

This event represented the final stage of the program for improvement of the educational institution, which was undertaken by Virú S.A. through the “Works for Taxes” program. The project has allowed for the addition of infrastructure of the highest quality to the educational centre, which will provide the appropriate conditions to ensure an excellent level of education.

Previously, the institution had only 3 container-like prefabricated classrooms, a dirt patio and a cane fence. Today, the new infrastructure has 6 classrooms equipped with computers and furniture, a dining room, administrative rooms, a storeroom, a playground and a games area.
