Viru is recognized by Great Place to Work as one of the Best Places to Work in Latin America 2021

Thanks to the work, commitment and work experience offered to the employees of its various plants and production areas in the country, the agro-industrial company Virú S. A. was recognized among the first 50 companies in the ranking of The Best Places to Work in Latin America 2021 of the Great Place To Work (GPTW). It also stands out as the fifth Peruvian company, being the best and only one in the agribusiness sector in the country in this outstanding ranking.

It is also ranked as the fifth most recognized Peruvian company in the region and the only one in the agribusiness sector in the category of large companies in this outstanding ranking.

This award highlights the work experience that the company provides to its employees in its plants and production areas in the country.

More than 2 million employees from more than 1,000 organizations in 20 Latin American countries were surveyed and the companies’ cultural practices were analyzed.

GPTW selects multinational and large national companies to integrate this ranking by analyzing their work programs and the results of work climate surveys that reflect their high levels of trust, commitment and camaraderie. Thus, the agribusiness company stood out in the category of large companies (with more than 500 employees) thanks to providing a great work experience for its more than 12,000 employees.
